WOA Board Certification Course Held on March 7-8, 2015

The most recent WOA-sponsored Board Certification Review Course was held March 7-8, 2015 at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells, WI. The event featured 18 hours of live COPE and WI OEB-approved education.

Speakers are provided by KMK Board Certification Services and included Kyle Cheatham, O.D., Heartland Eye Consultants, Omaha, NE; Christopher Wolfe, O.D., FAAO, Exclusively Eyecare, Omaha, NE; and Sarah Wood, O.D., MS, FAAO, Kellogg Eye Center. This trio presented education spanning the following categories: 4 hours anterior segment (AS), 2 hours neuro (NO), 3 hours posterior segment (PS), 2 hours glaucoma (GL), 2 hours contact lenses (CL), 1 hour low vision (LV), 2 hours functional vision/pediatrics (FV), 1 hour general optometry (GO), and 1 hour peri-operative management of ophthalmic surgery (PO). Please note that all 18 COPE-approved hours will also be accepted in Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, and Ohio.
