The 2024 WOA Northwoods Education Event will be returning to Wild Eagle Lodge in Eagle River, WI 54521. Wild Eagle Lodge is the finest lakeside resort in Eagle River, offering relaxation and amazing activities nestled along the beautiful shores of the Chain of Lakes, situated between Duck and Lynx Lake. Eight hours of quality continuing education are offered at this year’s event with this lineup of great speakers: Jeff Banas, OD, Eye Centers of Racine and Kenosha; Nicholas Burns, OD, Summit Eye Care, Milwaukee, Ayman Elnahry, MD, PhD, BayCare Clinic Eye Specialists, Green Bay; Emily Parker, OD, UW Health Mauston/Portage and Gregory Sovinski, MD, University of Wisconsin Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. Topics will include: case studies of interesting eye conditions, unique uses of YAG laser & a potpourri of pathologies, all you need to know about choroidal nevus, modern cataract surgery with a side of glaucoma.
